The Glades Initiative Food Pantry of Choice Hours
We hope that the flexibility of our new “Pantry of Choice” hours helps us to serve you better. You may come to shop in the food pantry once per week at any time during open hours. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines)! Food will no longer be distributed outside.
Required to participate:
• Valid ID or your Glades Initiative Food Pantry ID
• ONE time per week

Pahokee Housing Authority Section 8 Waitlist Opening and Closing
The Pahokee Housing Authority will be accepting applications for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program Waiting List. The list will close automatically after 75 successful submissions of preliminary online applications.

An interactive tool using Google Maps to help people easily locate free food and hot meals in Palm Beach County. This online tool was created to connect individuals seeking food resources to sites near them. Information is English, Spanish, and Creole. United Way updates the information listed on this map weekly. However, locations and hours of distribution may change. Please consider calling the site prior to visiting to verify the information listed. Please note that sites may have specific requirements such as ID.

Notice of Funding Availability - Impact Fee Affordable Housing Assistance Program
Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development (HED) has announced the availability of $2,114,290 in Impact Fee Affordable Housing Assistance Program (IFAHAP) funding from Fiscal Year 2021. HED will begin accepting applications for funding on March 29, 2022, at 9:00 a.m.

Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies March 2022 Educational Calendar
Educational workshops are for pregnant women and new families. Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies provides free hands-on education programs for parents and support partners. The class instructors are community partners or certified Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies staff.

In Need of Masks? Contact The Glades Initiative, Inc.
If you or people you know need masks, The Glades Initiative has masks and will share them with anyone in the Glades who needs them. These are the white two-ply reusable washable masks given by the health department. Call or come by to pick them up as long as supplies last.
