NOFA Emergency Repairs Program Opens June 8th


Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development announces the availability of approximately $2,300,000 in the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Emergency Repairs Program. Funding will provide up to $75,000 to assist low income eligible owner-occupied residences to address emergency conditions such as roofing, electrical, plumbing, hurricane hardening (impact windows, doors, etc.) and structural repairs for residents age 62 and older, veterans and/or special needs applicants.  The property's appraised value cannot exceed $434,000. Auditions for The Little Mermaid at Dolly Hand are on July 20th


We’re excited to welcome back Missoula Children’s Theatre for a week of imagination, creativity, and live performance! Kids of all experience levels are invited to audition, rehearse, and shine on stage in a full-scale production of The Little Mermaid—created in just one magical week. Snacks will be provided daily. If your child has food allergies or specific preferences, please send a snack from home. Rehearsals: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10am-3pm. Performance: Saturday, July 25 at 11am. Tickets: $10 adults / $6 children under 17.

Centro Campesino Presents: Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)


The Weatherization Assistance Program is intended to reduce the monthly energy burden on low-income households by improving the energy efficiency of the home. This service is provided at no cost to eligible Low-income homeowners or tenants. Weatherization includes: repair or replace of heating/cooling units and water heaters, installation of solar screens, and more. Eligible Applicants: The total household income may not be more than 200 percent above the national poverty level.
