Back To School PBC! Registration Closes May 7th!


In addition to FREE backpacks and school supplies, participating students may receive haircuts, school uniforms, sneakers, socks, blood tests, biometric health screenings, vision, dental and hearing tests, and other services and resources, depending on location and resource availability.


Eligible students must complete their registration at www.backtoschoolpbc.org before May 7, 2026. To register, parents or students should go to the above website and enter code PBCOCR (or you can leave it blank), the parent’s email address, and the parent’s cell phone number.  Registration is available in English, Spanish, and Creole. A confirmation email will be sent upon registration.

Centro Campesino Presents: Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)


The Weatherization Assistance Program is intended to reduce the monthly energy burden on low-income households by improving the energy efficiency of the home. This service is provided at no cost to eligible Low-income homeowners or tenants. Weatherization includes: repair or replace of heating/cooling units and water heaters, installation of solar screens, and more. Eligible Applicants: The total household income may not be more than 200 percent above the national poverty level.

Auditions for The Little Mermaid at Dolly Hand are on July 20th


We’re excited to welcome back Missoula Children’s Theatre for a week of imagination, creativity, and live performance! Kids of all experience levels are invited to audition, rehearse, and shine on stage in a full-scale production of The Little Mermaid—created in just one magical week. Snacks will be provided daily. If your child has food allergies or specific preferences, please send a snack from home. Rehearsals: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10am-3pm. Performance: Saturday, July 25 at 11am. Tickets: $10 adults / $6 children under 17.

Protect Your Home and Legacy: Free Legal Help for Eligible Homeowners in Palm Beach County


The goal of the Heirs’ Property Family Wealth Protection Fund project is to preserve generational wealth and promote community stability by providing legal services to eligible homeowners, such as the creation of estate plans, wills, deeds, and the clearing of tangled property titles. All services will be 100% free of cost to eligible property owners.


WHEN: Services will be available through September 30, 2026, or until funds are expended, whichever occurs first.
