The Glades Initiative Annual Potluck & Gift Exchange
The Glades Initiative invites partners and friends to its annual Holiday Potluck and Gift Exchange! Bring a food dish and join us as we celebrate the holidays in good company. Following the potluck, we will have a gift exchange. If you would like to participate, bring a wrapped gift valued at $10 or more. Limited seating available. Glades PATCH Meeting - Open to All GLADESPATCH
 
The Glades PATCH (Planned Approach To Community Health) is a program designed to help the community evaluate, plan and implement health education and disease prevention and intervention programs. PATCH helps promote the health of the community to include the social, emotional and physical well-being of its citizens. PATCH is a partnership of concerned citizens and organizations. This partnership provides a forum for identifying health problems affecting the community and mobilizing the community to plan, conduct and evaluate intervention services. The meeting is open to all who wish to join.

Come out and join Santa, the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches' Choir in the Glades and the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center for the Holiday Festival and Tree-Lighting! The event includes refreshments, entertainment from the Choir in the Glades, a visit from Santa and the beautiful tree-lighting for the 14th Annual Festival of Trees. This free event begins at 6:00 p.m.

Public Meeting: Five Year Consolidated Plan 2020-2024CONSOLIDATEDPLAN
 
Palm Beach County must prepare a Five Year Consolidated Plan in order to receive certain federal grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Department of Housing and Economic Stability (DHES) will host several public meetings to provide information and to hear from community members.

South Bay Christmas Parade and Toy Giveaway
 
Kings Tutoring and Mentoring and the Marshall Family p resent the 4th Community Christmas Toys Giveaway and Parade.  Willie Marshall dressed as Santa during the holidays and rode through the city of South  Bay on a Fire Truck. T he fire  truck would end at Tanner Park where ther would bags filled with toys for all the kids in South Bay. His son Willie Frank Marshall Jr will continue his father's legacy. Food, fun and games for the entire family. 

Preregistration is now closed for toy giveaway. We are continuing collecting toys and gift cards and coats for kids.
