The Glades Initiative's Food Pantry is available to anyone in need. Residents may come in once per week at any time during the hours listed below. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines).
Required to participate:
• Valid ID or your Glades Initiative Food Pantry ID
• ONE time per week
WHEN: Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Tuesday)

It is not a government-issued form of ID or a driver’s license, but it is a verifiable form of identification that says you are a part of our community. An interactive tool using Google Maps to help people easily locate free food and hot meals in Palm Beach County. This online tool was created to connect individuals seeking food resources to sites near them. Information is English, Spanish, and Creole. United Way updates the information listed on this map weekly. However, locations and hours of distribution may change. Please consider calling the site prior to visiting to verify the information listed. Please note that sites may have specific requirements such as ID.

HUD’s Office of Multifamily Housing announced the award of $160.1 million in grant funding to non-profit organizations across the country to support the development of new or redeveloped affordable multifamily rental housing and ongoing project rental assistance for low- income seniors through its FY 2022 [lnks.gd]Section 202 Capital Advance NOFO [lnks.gd]. In addition to the $160.1 million that has been awarded, sponsors will leverage other funds to cover the difference between residents’ contributions towards rents and costs of operating the 202 homes within the project/property.
