The Glades Initiative's Food Pantry is available to anyone in need. Residents may come in once per week at any time during the hours listed below. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines).


Required to participate:

• Valid ID or your Glades Initiative Food Pantry ID

• ONE time per week


WHEN: Tuesdays and Wednesdays

  • 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Tuesday)
  • 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Wednesday)

GRANT OPPORTUNITY: Changemakers


In April 2023, a meeting with funders/past grant recipients was held to plan the countywide Changemakers fund Grant. When Palm Health Foundation along with funders from Palm Beach County was awarded the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Award, they received $25,000. Funders were asked to match the $25000 so that they could offer a county-wide grant. We had past mini-grant awardees who attended the meeting and gave input. The Community Changemakers Fund is live and is accepting applications.

This online tool was created to connect individuals seeking food resources to sites near them. Information is English, Spanish, and Creole. United Way updates the information listed on this map weekly. However, locations and hours of distribution may change. The Community ID of the Palm Beaches is for ANY resident who may have limited access to government-issued forms of identification, and for those who support a diverse and inclusive community.
