Local nonprofits can now sign up to participate in the 2018 Great Charity Challenge! Each year, the GCC transforms the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Florida into a field of dreams for more than 30 local charities eligible to receive money via the GCC fundraising effort through the application and selection process.

The GCC is an exciting Pro-Amateur show jumping event that features 34 teams of three riders ranging in age from 11 to 70. Each team is randomly assigned to a charity to compete for the prize money. The charity paired with the winning team receives $150,000, with a sliding scale to the 34th placed team receiving $15,000.

Additional grants are also randomly drawn on the night of the event (50 nonprofit organizations total benefited from the event in 2016). Over the first 8 years, over 220 charities have participated and benefited from the event. To date, GCC has distributed over $10.7 million in Palm Beach County.
