Applications will be accepted onsite ONLY. Mentor Training - Take Stock in Children PBC

From Take Stock in Children: "We need your support! Take Stock in Children needs to recruit 200 new mentors by the end of September and we need you! If you have already gone through our orientation, please let me know. If not, please consider making a difference and making a college scholarship possible for a student. Our students must have a mentor in order to receive their college scholarship."

Becoming a mentor is easy and minimal time commitment..

Catholic Charities offers a number of programs, ranging from Counseling, to Support and Healing (post-abortive and miscarriage support), as well as Group Counseling for children and parents. Counseling program accepts insurance and provides sliding-scale fees for those who do not have insurance or whose insurance does not cover these services. Services are offered in English and Spanish. First session is free.

Palm Beach County: Funding Availability, Sail and Housing Credit Local Government Contribution

Palm Beach County's Department of Housing and Economic Sustainability (DHES) hereby announces the availability of $690,000 in loan funding to serve as the required minimum local government contribution for affordable housing developers seeking State Apartment Incentive Loan (SAIL) and Housing Credit (HC) funding through Florida Housing Finance Corporation's (FHFC) 2018 Requests For Applications (RFAs). Funds made available through this NOFA may be committed to up to six (6) projects in the amount of $115,000 each.
