Mothers in the Muck Presents: Biweekly Diaper Distribution Program
Mothers in the Muck be alternating between BRIDGES at Pahokee and BRIDGES at Belle Glade to help families access essential baby supplies while staying connected to community support and resources. Reminder: To continue receiving diapers on a biweekly basis, moms must attend at least 2 MITM events each month. Check out the flyer for dates, locations, and details. Palm Beach State College Launches Drone Training Program Oct. 6 on Belle Glade Campus
The 12-week, noncredit program includes 220 hours of training in supervised flight operations, drone safety, maintenance and troubleshooting. The course is designed to prepare students for the Federal Aviation Administration’s Part 107 Remote Pilot license exam and entry-level opportunities in commercial drone operations. Cost: $2,625, excluding FAA exam fees

Enroll for Phlebotomy Technician Training Course at PBSC
This course is designed for the individual seeking a healthcare credential in the field of Phlebotomy. Participants will gain the knowledge and laboratory skills to perform a variety of blood collection methods and techniques required to become a phlebotomist. Classroom and skills laboratory instruction will also include a basic review of concepts related to anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, infection control, handling, and storage. Upon completion of this course participants will be prepared to take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification and earn the CPT credential.

Free College & Career Scholarships for Local Students: College For Kids
For over 30 years, College for Kids has been dedicated to empowering local youth by providing free scholarship and mentorship programs to help students successfully attend college or trade school. Operating three core programs—College for Kids, Take Stock in Children, and TradeUp—we currently serve over 650+ students across Palm Beach County, including many within the Glades area, at no cost to families.
PROGRAMS:
College for Kids (Grades 6–11): Academic enrichment and group mentoring to help students build the foundation for college success, including a free 2-year college scholarship.
Take Stock in Children (Grades 6–11): One-on-one mentoring, academic support, and post-secondary advising, including a free 2-year college scholarship.
TradeUp (Grades 10–11): Hands-on training and industry certifications in high-demand

Free Legal Assistance for Eligible Palm Beach County Homeowners – The Deadline is Approaching!
The goal of the Heirs’ Property Family Wealth Protection Fund project is to preserve generational wealth and promote community stability by providing legal services to eligible homeowners, such as the creation of estate plans, wills, deeds, and the clearing of tangled property titles. All services will be 100% free of cost to eligible property owners.

Palm Beach County Youth Services
The Palm Beach County Youth Services Department (YSD) – Youth & Family Counseling (YFC) Program is a community-based program that provides a variety of free mental health services to Palm Beach County children, youth, and families. Some of our services include parent education and family therapy for children and youth up to 22 years of age. Services are provided at no cost to Palm Beach County residents by highly trained Master’s-level and licensed clinicians. Clinical services are available both in person and through telemental health. YFC has multiple locations throughout the county, including Belle Glade.
