ANAM CARA
Women's spirituality

Friday, September 8th, 7:00 PM
Morcone Conference Center

Anam Cara is a women's group that meets the second Friday of each month. We gather for meditation and discussion of our spiritual journeys, our daily lives and how the two intersect and build on each other to create a full and enriching life experience. We meet at 7:00, opening with some conversation and tea or coffee, followed by a short meditation time and then discussion.

Our name originates from the book Anam Cara by John O'Donohue. It translates "soul friend" and we have surely been that to each other throughout the years. We also include social outreach projects from time to time. In the past we have donated to Wellspring in Hull, building and support projects at the Abbey, clothing collections for clients at the Woman's Lunch Place in Boston and food and clothing collections for local veterans.

Please join us for fellowship, meditation, some thoughtful readings and most certainly lively dis cussions!  We hope to see you there.
