I really wanted to get this out last week so I could say, "Are you ready for some football?" There--I said it anyway! What a game, right? I'm not a huge football fan and don't have a "team", but I love the Super Bowl. John and I have snacks and beer and just enjoy watching the game and commercials. It's become our tradition.

So, I hope you're doing well and enjoying life. Maybe this year building a boat can be a new tradition for you. Or, an opportunity to fulfill an item on your "bucket list". So many have discovered their hidden passion for building boats.

We posted a Top 10 Glen-L Boat Plans article recently (see below). It's always fun to look back at the previous year to see what's trending for our plans. Enjoy this month's newsletter!

After finishing inventory for the year, believe me when I say Glen-L has a ton of fastenings! Silicon bronze ring shank nails, bronze wood screws, carriage bolts, stainless steel and copper wire for Stitch & Glue construction and a bunch more. Click here to get your fastenings!

Do you wonder which boats are the most popular? I know we get that question quite a bit. These are the top selling boat plans for 2016. Now, buying a plan doesn't mean you're building the boat. But, it's likely that the more plans out the door, the more of that design will be built.

Enjoy the beautiful photos and decide which one you'll build in 2016! Read the article here.
When mixed, System Three Flotation Foam undergoes a chemical reaction that produces polyurethane foam in a 2lb/ft3 density, United States Coast Guard approved for flotation. This foam also is an excellent insulation material that is unaffected by fuel, paint, solvents, polyester and epoxy resins. One quart of mix will produce about one cubic foot of foam. Each cubic foot of foam provides about 60 pounds of buoyancy. This Gallon Kit makes approximately 5 cubic feet.
Many of you have been waiting patiently for the Steermaster replacement cables to be available. We have word that they should be in stock by the end of February.

These cables are only made once a year and once they're gone, they aren't available until the next year. We are taking pre-orders now so you can make sure and get on the water this year. See our site to order here.

I was looking for info on our Rebel for a client and I came across a pictorial on building this boat. The Rebel is a really cool design that's actually a barrelback with an outboard. It was also "revolutionary" with its anti-trip chine which makes the boat safer when crossing wakes. The steps for building the Rebel are pretty close to how most of our boats are built, so take a look!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! And until next time... build more boats. Glen-L boats, that is!

We feel that the main benefit of System Three SilverTip Resin is its non-blush quality. Even at low temperatures and high humidity, this resin will not blush. This means you don't have to wipe down the cured epoxy between coats which will save you time and energy better spent building your boat. There is also a longer working time with this resin, but not an extended cure time. So, you have more time to apply it properly without taking longer to complete your project.

Our BOAT TRAILER PLANS cover the latest in axles, wheels, hubs, brakes, suspension systems, tires, couplers, welded steel frame details, hull support systems, jackstands, and more!
