Dear Friends,

This month we will feature an article about aging in a developing country. Family values and attitudes toward aging vary so much from culture to culture, often giving us opportunities to learn from others and often providing opportunities to guide and help others. The world is seeing the effects of climate change with droughts, floods, fires, and more. These changes further affect the lives and livelihoods of people worldwide and often exacerbate poverty and diminish the quality of life. HIGN's goal is to improve the lives of people, especially older adults, wherever they may live, and this article is an example of some of the work done by the NYU Meyers faculty.

Have a great start to the summer.

Best Wishes,
