Ground was broken for the new Splash Pad to be constructed at Phillips Park
The City of College Park breaks ground with (l to r: Director of Recreation and Cultural Art Michelle Johnson, Chairman of Fulton County Board of Commussuoners Robb Pitts , Councilman Roderick Gay Ward IV), College Park Mayor Bianca Motley Broom, Resident Whitney Flemister, Fulton County Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman, Director of Community Development for Fulton County Stanley Wilson, Councilman Ambrose Clay (Ward I), Councilman Ken Allen (Ward III) .

The Splash Pad will be situated in the upper field of the park, inside the walking path and wooded area. Construction is scheduled to be completed in late Fall 2021.

College Parklet on Main - Ribbon Cutting
The College Parklet is an outdoor dining area (former parking spaces) positioned in front of popular restaurants on Main Street in College Park. The newly transformed dining area was dedicated on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021.
The concept was initiated to provide alternatives, including social distancing to enhance restaurants' ability to continue serving the public during the pandemic.

COVID-19 UPDATE
The Fulton County Board of Health is inviting residents in target zip codes to join the Say Yes! COVID Test At-Home Testing Challenge, which provides households with access to free, rapid COVID-19 test kits that they can self-administer. Say Yes! COVID Test encourages residents to use the tests twice a week, regardless of symptoms, to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep the community healthy.

Tuesday, September 28, 2021, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and CORE will be providing COVID-19 vaccinations at the Public Safety Complex, located at 3737 College Street in the Community Room, from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
