Pysanky Egg Decorating Class, Tuesday, April 8, 5:00 - 8:00 pm, Gateway Building - 7th floor conference room, 106 Somerset Street, New Brunswick
This is your chance to try your hand at the tradition of decorating eggs with layers of wax and dye, a craft that is found in many Eastern European countries, like Poland, the Ukraine and Russia.
Please note that this craft will take some time to complete - you must arrive at the beginning of the program and stay until the end in order to finish your egg. Also, all eggs will be collected at the end of the event for final processing - you will not go home with a finished egg. Students will be able to collect their egg a few days after the program.
