Rutgers Visits the Middle East to Explore New Partnerships & Opportunities: A group from Rutgers University, led by Vice President for Global Affairs Eric Garfunkel, visited the UAE and Egypt in January to explore new partnerships in the region, as well as opportunities for student recruitment and alumni engagement. 

Alumni Profiles: 12 Under 40: After earning degrees from Rutgers and Harvard, Tej Nuthulaganti joined the Clinton Health Access Initiative in South Africa, where he supported malaria elimination and HIV testing and treatment. 

Rutgers University Invited to Join Highly Competitive Global Scholars Program 2022: Rutgers joins the ranks of 53 premier international institutions from 12 countries invited to participate in the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research Global Scholars Program. 

Student Spotlight: Sonal Gahlawat: Gahlawat is a 2023 biomedical engineering doctoral candidate who shares her thoughts on her academic interests, Rutgers experience, and future plans.

Twelve Rutgers Professors Named Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science: Rutgers faculty elected to the newest class of fellows for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) are engaging in research to tackle some of the greatest mysteries of human health. 

Alumna Receives Charles B. Rangel Fellowship to Prepare for Career as Diplomat: Anna Baker’s love of travel and languages shaped her interest in becoming a Foreign Service officer, a dream job now in sight after she was awarded a fellowship with the Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program.

Join us for an hour devoted to learning how to make either a crowd-favorite dish for Sunday's big game or treat for your Valentine! Your choice! Attendees are also welcome to share their favorite recipes.

Rutgers Global has teamed up with the Graduate Student Association for a board game night. Stop by to play some classic games along with some modern favorites. All students welcome – you don’t need to be a graduate student to attend.

Weekly Virtual English-Spanish Language Exchange Series: Intercambio Lingüístico, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Fridays via Zoom

Meet our Spain Resident Director, Laura Gatzkiewicz, along with students from two of our semester exchange programs at the Universidad de Valencia and the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. You can practice your Spanish while helping them practice their English, and learn more about studying abroad in Spain. Occurs weekly on Fridays.
