Three Schwarzman Scholars Mark Historic First for Rutgers: Two Rutgers alumni and one senior were named Schwarzman Scholars – one from each campus location in a historic first for the university: Tania Martinez, a 2022 graduate, is the first from Rutgers University-Camden; Senior Chinonso Anyanwu is from Rutgers University-Newark; and alumna Nina Gohel is from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.

Rutgers Health Professor Receives Presidential Early Career Award: Antonina Mitrofanova, who immigrated from Ukraine to the U.S. at 21, is an associate professor in the Department of Health Informatics and associate dean for research at the Rutgers School of Health Professions, and has been awarded the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE).

Calling our International Students who have completed the RGlobal off-campus workshop and are working on their OPT applications, join us at our International Student Workshop. Bring your laptop and questions! You'll have the opportunity to ask an International Student Advisor questions and learn from other OPT applicants. Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of the OPT process prior to attending the session.

Japanese Tea Ceremony, February 26, 5:30-7:00 pm, B.E.S.T. Hall - West, Multipurpose Room - 2nd Floor, 54 Bevier Rd., Piscataway, NJ


Join us for this exciting opportunity to witness a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony. Attendees will attend a short lecture on the ceremony courtesy of the Boukakuan Japanese Tea House and Garden; a demonstration of the tea ceremony will follow. Tea and a sweet will be provided to all in attendance.
