Annual Global Health Fair Returns: The Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Global Health Fair returned on December 6, following a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event featured poster presentations by faculty, staff, and students who have engaged in global health related activities.

Professor of Environmental Microbiology Receives Daniel Gorenstein Memorial Award: Lily Young, a Distinguished Professor of Environmental Microbiology at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, received the Daniel Gorenstein Memorial Award for outstanding scholarly achievement and exceptional service. She has held a number of positions at Rutgers, including dean of international programs at SEBS.

Team of Rutgers Scholars Takes Deep Dive into AI to Understand its Impact on the World: Leading the work of Critical AI @ Rutgers is Lauren M. E. Goodlad, a Distinguished Professor of English. The group is planning a two-week global humanities institute in Pretoria next July that will focus on Design Justice AI, which explores the impact of the new technologies on local and indigenous languages and cultures.

Spring 2024 International Student Orientation, January 15, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Livingston Student Center
This mandatory orientation welcomes, prepares, and engages new students and their families in their transition to Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Through presentations and interactive activities, students will learn more about the Rutgers campus, connect with Rutgers departments, resources, and staff, and get guidance from current Rutgers students.
Open to graduate and undergraduate international first-year and transfer students.
