Announcing the 2022 Rutgers Global Grants Recipients: These modest seed grants in the areas of International Collaborative Research, Global Health, Global Environmental Change, and Faculty Innovation in Global Learning, are offered yearly to all Rutgers faculty, including tenured, tenure-track, clinical, and NTT faculty.

Rutgers Global Hosts Virtual Panel on Higher Education Response to Refugee Students & Scholars: On April 22, Rutgers Global convened a virtual panel to discuss the pivotal role of higher education institutions with regard to refugee and displaced students and scholars, particularly in the wake of the recent crises in Afghanistan and Ukraine as well as the looming challenges of climate change.

Paraguay USAID Official Visits Rutgers–Camden to Celebrate University’s Support: Evelyn Rodriguez-Perez, the country representative for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Paraguay, visited Rutgers University–Camden this week to speak to the campus community as a culmination of a three-year project that included establishing a center for ethics at Paraguay’s largest university.

Expanding Local-Global Perspectives in The Conversation Tree Program: For students taking part in the Rutgers Graduate School of Education program called The Conversation Tree, there is a unique opportunity to interact with people in the local community and beyond who are looking to practice English language skills.

Peter Guarnaccia Honored with Clement A. Price Human Dignity Award by Rutgers: Guarnaccia, professor in the Department of Human Ecology, was recognized with the Clement A. Price Human Dignity Award by the Committee to Advance Our Common Purposes (CACP) for his more than thirty years of work on diversity, equity and inclusion at Rutgers, nationally and internationally.

2021-2022 Faculty Year-End Excellence Award Recipients Announced: President Jonathan Holloway and Executive Vice President Prabhas Moghe announced the recipients of the 2021-22 Universitywide Faculty Year-End Excellence Awards, including honors for Mayte Green-Mercado and Rebecca Davis for their international work.
