Rutgers Connects with Alumni in Singapore: A delegation from Rutgers University traveled to Singapore to engage with alumni and deepen partnerships in the region.

Rutgers Receives IIE American Passport Project Grant: Rutgers Global will apply this grant to support our Passport to the World initiative, which seeks to increase the number of Rutgers University matriculated students with U.S. passports. This initiative will be awarding 250 total passports to Rutgers students for the 2022-2023 cycle.

Meet Kara Amoratis, Rutgers University’s New Director of Global Travel, Safety & Security: In this new role at Rutgers, Amoratis will be responsible for developing and coordinating policies, procedures, and activities that support the well-being of students and faculty and staff who travel abroad for study or university business.

Cultures of the North: A Winter Wilderness Immersion: In January 2023, six students from Rutgers - Newark traveled with Professor Clayton Walton to the Kroka Campus in Green Mountain, New Hampshire to learn about sustainability and sustainable development practices, as well as participating in community engagement activities.

Santiago Cuesta Named MacMillan Chair in the Life Sciences: The Rutgers Board of Governors appointed the cell biology and neuroscience professor in the School of Arts and Sciences, originally from Argentina, as the Duncan and Nancy MacMillan Faculty Development Chair in the Life Sciences.

A Day in the Life of a Rutgers Future Scholars Superstar: Esmeralda Diaz-Calderon, a student at Rutgers - Camden, gives back to the program that supported her college dreams.
