Calling All Faculty: Apply for a Rutgers Global Grant! Rutgers Global is pleased to announce the 2022-23 Rutgers Global Grants. These modest seed grants are offered yearly to all tenured, tenure‐track, clinical, or NTT faculty. This year, we are pleased to announce four separate award categories: International Collaborative Research, Global Health, Global Environmental Change, and Faculty Innovation in Global Learning.

Lanae Ali, a first-generation student and first-time flier, took the leap of a lifetime, traveling over 4,837 miles away from home to experience Greek life through the Lifestyles of The Mediterranean program. Lanae completed her Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Middlesex County College. She transferred to RU-Newark in the Fall semester of 2021 to pursue her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Social Justice through the Honors-Living Learning Community (HLLC). She describes her experience in the program as both "eye-opening" and "life-changing," stating that "the trip gave me the confidence I needed to pursue my dreams and career goals, and I strongly encourage both transfer and non-transfer students to take a chance with study abroad." Friendship Fridays are Back! Join us on Friday, 10/7/22 at 4:00 p.m., for "Crafternoon: Tie Dye," 30 College Ave.

Friendship Fridays are open to all Rutgers students, both domestic and international. Each week there will be a different theme where attendees can enjoy games, activities, and conversation - all while making new friends from around the world.

This week, stop by to make your own Rutgers Global tie dye t-shirt! Arrive on time as supplies are limited. Since we will be working with dye, make sure you wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
