Celebrating 10 Years of Mandela Washington Fellowship at Rutgers: Rutgers has the distinction of having been chosen as an Institute Partner every year since the program’s inception in 2014. We are proud to be connected with 400 alumni who have participated in the Mandela Washington Fellowship program at Rutgers University. Read about this year's program.

International Student Spotlight Series: Rutgers University welcomes more than 7,000 international students from around the world to our campuses each year. Rutgers Senior Kate Beemer Follows Study Abroad Program with Internship in Germany: After transferring to the university as a sophomore, Kate Beemer hatched a plan to spend time studying abroad – followed by a stint at MTV Germany.

Rutgers Global Grant Awardee Jack Harris Develops Study Abroad Course on Scottish Sustainability: This summer, Jack Harris, an assistant teaching professor and Program Director in Sustainability in the Department of Human Ecology, was in Scotland meeting with academic and community partners, thanks to a Rutgers Global Grant to develop a study abroad program on “Scottish Sustainability." The 3-credit, 3-week course will be launched in June 2025.
