Graduating students,
Sashes - decorative strips of fabric that represent affinity groups and academic affiliations - are frequently worn in graduation photos and during commencement ceremonies.
This year CGPS is excited to offer graduating students the option to order sashes representing their country (or countries) to wear with their caps and gowns. Students can select up to six countries to represent where they have been or where they're from - see examples below. (Note, sashes are not mandatory.)
The first order deadline is March 24, for pickup on April 14. The next order deadline will be April 14, for pickup on May 17 at the UD Global Festival outside of Elliott Hall, located at 26 East Main Street.
To learn more and order, go to www.visionwear.com. Students are responsible for purchasing their own sashes, but we have arranged a small discount by having them all delivered to the CGPS office. To get this discount, use Coupon Code UDELGRAD2023 when making your purchase. Be sure to use your @udel.edu email address for verification purposes. You will receive pick up instructions once the delivery is confirmed by CGPS.
