UC Davis Global Learning Fair

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​October 9, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., ARC Ballrooms A&B—UC Davis Campus. Join us at the UC Davis Global Learning Fair to learn about the variety of global opportunities and funding resources available to you. The fair features global leadership opportunities, study abroad programs, global internships, post-graduate global opportunities, funding opportunities and more! Global Grad & Postdoc Career Skills Series and Certificate

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This series is open to graduate students and postdocs. Participants can register for workshops with an emphasis on skill development in workplace inclusivity or intercultural teaching and learning for success in intercultural work environments. Workshops can be combined toward a certificate from Global Affairs. Register now.

GloCal Health Fellowship

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The GloCal Health Fellowship is a 12-month mentored research fellowship at one of twenty international partner sites for researchers interested in diseases and conditions in developing countries. Recipients will receive education and training, mentorship and financial support to complete a research project. Apply now for 2026-27. Deadline: September 15.


CIEE's Scan Design Foundation Environmental Sustainability Internship

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​May 19–July 12, 2026. This funded eight-week internship in Copenhagen places U.S. students with Danish companies focused on environmental sustainability. Interns will compare Danish and U.S. approaches to environmental sustainability through hands-on work and cultural exchange. Funding to cover program cost, airfare and a living stipend will be provided. Apply now. Deadline: November 21.

 

OECD Co-operative Research Programme: Sustainable Agricultural and Food Systems

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Applications are invited from research scientists working in agriculture, forestry or fisheries who would like to conduct research projects abroad from 6-26 weeks as part of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Co-operative Research Programme. Apply nowDeadline: September 10.

UC Davis Global Learning Photo Contest

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The annual UC Davis Global Learning Photo Contest aims to recognize and celebrate student photography taking place on the many global learning programs offered throughout the year. Top prizes (for all winners and finalists): gift cards ranging from $25-$200. Full details. Deadline: September 30.


Cultural Survival’s Indigenous Youth Fellowship

Cultural Survival’s 2026 Indigenous Youth Fellowship empowers Indigenous youth (ages 18–28) to lead creative, community-driven projects that benefit Indigenous communities, along with opportunities for leadership development. Fellows receive up to $5,000, mentorship and global visibility. Apply. Deadline: September 30.

 

Lafayette Fellowship Program: One Year of Master’s Study in France

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Lafayette Fellowship, created by the French Embassy in the U.S., celebrates Franco-American friendship by offering one year of fully funded master’s study at leading French universities across eight cities. Alongside their academic coursework, fellows will participate in an immersive leadership development program and receive mentorship. Apply. Deadline: November 30.

 

Blakemore Freeman Fellowships

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Applications are now open for this fellowship, which provides a stipend for one academic year (two semesters or three quarters) of advanced-level language study in East or Southeast Asia. By the start of the grant, applicants should have received a bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of three years of language study. Deadline: December 30.

 

Siddall Sheffield Scholarship

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The University of Sheffield’s Siddall Sheffield Scholarship offers full tuition and a £18,000 (approx. $23,000) stipend for a one-year engineering master’s. Open to talented U.S. students across a range of disciplines—from aerospace to computer science. Apply now. Deadline: January 13.

Participants will identify core inclusion concepts, definitions and their importance in job searching, the workplace and daily life. Grad & Postdoc Workshop: Managing Conflict in Intercultural Spaces

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​October 23, 4–5:30 p.m., virtual. This workshop is offered as part of the Global Grad & Postdoc Career Skills Series and Certificate. Participants will reflect on their own conflict style and consider how cultural norms and context contribute to conflict, as well as analyze different conflict scenarios relevant to graduate and professional students and postdoctoral scholars.
