Fulbright U.S. Student Program–Program Overview
April 15, 12–1:00 p.m., virtual. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers opportunities in approximately 150 countries for U.S. citizens who are graduating seniors, alumni or current graduate students. Prestigious Scholarship Advisor Scott Palmer will provide an overview of the program and application process. Register for the info session.
Global Impact Fellows Info Session
April 21, 12:30–1:15 p.m., virtual. Join us to learn about the Global Impact Fellows program, a one-year opportunity to lead or support student-led projects addressing global and local issues. Learn how the program builds skills in project management, leadership and technical fields. Fellows are eligible for project funding. Register for the info session.
Peace Corps Info Session
April 28, 4:10–5 p.m., South Hall 114. Learn about opportunities to volunteer with the Peace Corps. Volunteers live and work alongside community members in nearly 60 countries, supporting locally prioritized projects in education, health, environment, agriculture, economic development and youth development. UC Davis SDG Symposium
April 30, 11 a.m.–3 p.m., International Center. The inaugural SDG Symposium addresses limited awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while building participants’ capacity to pursue actionable change in their current and future work. Exploring AI, Mental Health, and Cultural Perspectives in Student Life Workshop
May 6, 5–6:30 p.m., virtual. Join students from across the Pacific Rim for a virtual discussion on AI, mental health and cultural perspectives in student life.
