Each year, eighth-grade students from Creekside Christian School serve with Puente de Amistad in Tijuana, accompanied by a parent. This family-oriented approach creates deeper impact for everyone involved.

Steve, who is one of the parents, joined us with his daughter Adriana. Although he calls himself a Christian, he admitted that he was not deeply committed. As a family man, he attended church primarily to set a good example for his children, who brought him along on this trip. During his week in Tijuana, God transformed Steve’s heart, opening his eyes to God’s love for all cultures.

The experience moved Steve so deeply, that he decided to be baptized in the Pacific Ocean, publicly declaring his renewed commitment to Christ.

At Puente de Amistad, we’re passionate about helping everyone develop deep relationships with Jesus — both locals and American visitors.
