GROWTH & CHANGE AT YANA Welcome

Dear Members and Friends of YANA:

The coming of spring signifies renewal, the unfolding of fresh opportunities and some exciting changes for YANA. I'm pleased to share a few of the significant developments springing forth from YANA's ever-expanding, mission-driven network.

Read on to learn more about these highlights:
  • YANA Goes GlobalIn addition to our 8 active chapters in the US, YANA is now engaging a global social purpose community.
  • New CollaborationsActive collaboration is embedded in YANA's DNA, and we continually seek partners to help scale collective impact. Some of these recent collaborative partnerships include co-hosting programs with organizations that advance social impact, such as Inspiring Capital and ConsenSys, and providing support and guidance to Tsai CITY, Yale's new innovation lab.
  • YANA-Dwight Hall Fellowship: For the second year, YANA is able to support Yale undergrads  pursuing nonprofit internships.
There's never been a more exciting time to join us, and we wholeheartedly welcome your membership.

-Ken Inadomi '76, YANA Founding Chair

2 out of 3 Yale alumni are involved in the nonprofit and social enterprise sectors. That's 110,000+ alums who are executive directors, practitioners, board members, donors, or volunteers.

We envision a global community that engages  all  alumni and friends of Yale in advancing social change.  A five-time winner of the Yale Board of Governors Award since our founding in 2011, we have grown into a network of over 3,000 -- with 8 chapters on 3 continents: the Bay Area, Colorado, Europe, India, New England, New York, Seattle, and Washington DC.
Working together. Giving back. Changing lives.

YANA is entirely volunteer-led; and we rely on the generosity of our members and those who believe in social good to support our inspiring programs.
