Through its 7th year and third cycle of fellowship selection, GOHi recently accepted five sandwich PhD visiting scholars fromEthiopia, Kenya and Tanzania that were placed at three different Ohio State colleges including Medicine, Public Health and Veterinary Medicine. The fellows will conduct one-year of mentored research at Ohio State before returning to their home institutions at the University of Nairobi, Kenya Medical Research Institute, University of Gondar, Addis Ababa University and Ethiopian Public Health Institute. The fellowship is made possible through the NIH Fogarty International Center, Global Infectious Diseases D43 program.
