On April 8, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) and its Biohub delegation members from its headquarters in California, visited Ohio State to meet GOHi faculty, staff and visiting scholars and the executive committee members to explore potential partnership and cooperation on current research training and capacity building projects in Eastern Africa. The CZI team included Christina Tato, PhD, immunologist and associate director of the rapid response team, Rebecca Egger, product manager, and Vida Ahyong, bioinformatician. The visit also included tours of the Ohio Supercomputer Center and the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
