As we enter 2020
and contemplate its significance
, I reflect
upon the recent events in my life that have led me so much further on my path. In the last year and a half, my work and my purpose has accelerated to light speed trajectory! I
participated in a solo exhibition at the
Human Security and Just Governance Forum
in Caux, Switzerland; I was invited to be the artist on board a scientific expedition in Raja Ampat, Indonesia; my work was exhibited in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, China; and I attended
, an astrophysics festival with astronauts, scientists, musicians and Nobel Prize recipients in Zurich!
In addition to my travels around the world, my gallery,
Hilton | Asmus Contemporary,
has gained considerable momentum on the international stage. Our clients hail from Norway to Australia, Singapore to Sweden and nearly every state in the United States. We participated in art fairs from Aspen to Chicago; exhibitions for Blake & Boky Ward, Julian Wasser, David Gamble and David Yarrow. The words "never a dull moment" rang true every moment, in and out of my gallery.
One of my proudest moments was to be named Global Leader Honoree for 2019-2020 by my favorite international nonprofit, GREENHEART INTERNATIONAL.
I was, and still am, deeply humbled and proud to follow in the footsteps of such luminaries as
Nobel Peace Prize co-recipient
Jerry White; Hungarian philosopher of science, father of systems theory AND twice nominated for the
Nobel Peace Prize, Dr. Ervin Laszlo; and former executive
The Hunger Project, Lynne Twist, who helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars in over 30 countries to alleviate hunger worldwide. All of them are committed to a thriving just and sustainable world.
My commitment to Greenheart in 2020 is to help carry out their important mission to empower international youth to become tomorrow's futures leaders.

It is with great
pleasure I share this powerful vision of these heroes for our planet, and of Greenheart International, an organization comprised of brilliant, compassionate and dedicated individuals who educate and instill leadership qualities in our future generations.
Since 1985, Chicago-based Greenheart International, empowering youth to become the global leaders of tomorrow, operates in over 90 countries. They have been a catalyst for global transformation through the facilitation of cultural exchange programs, eco-fair trade purchasing, personal development opportunities, volunteer service initiatives, and environmental advocacy projects. Their mission of connecting people and planet to create global leaders drives all that they do in each of their branches: Greenheart Travel, Greenheart Shop, and Greenheart Exchange.
