Retina Masterclass: How to Diagnose and Manage Vitreoretinal Disease
Dr. Brendan Girschek, MD, FRCSC, FACS; Dr. John Randolph, MD and Dr. Mohammad Rafieetary, OD, FAAO, FORS, ABO
Optometrists often encounter patients presenting with symptoms and signs associated with a variety of vitreoretinal disease. Many conditions have different stages and severity with different management requirements. This can result in clinical conundrum; which to monitor, which to refer to a retinal specialist and with what urgency. In this lecture, several vitreoretinal cases are presented with a discussion on when to refer and how to manage each case.
