Australia's supermarkets display "few positive impacts" when it comes to improving public health, despite the great power they wield in the nation's food system, according to a new study.

Promoting fresh, healthy AEVOO over imported oils would be a “positive impact”.

The AOA has been informed that the following permit has been updated by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA), to now include all states:
Note: This permit has been amended by the APVMA to reflect recent Victoria State legislation regarding restricted use products.

An interest-grabbing back story, one of the keys to marketing success.
Rome, 1 January: When is olive oil pure and when is it virgin? According to Spanish, Algerian, French, Greek, Moroccan, Portuguese and Turkish experts, who have just met at the thirteenth International Olive Growers’ Congress in Madrid, olive oil is virgin when it is the produce of one pressed olive crop and pure when it is a mixture of various olives and other lower-grade oils, refined and confectioned into a pale gold odourless liquid.

That oil that's been sitting forgotten in the back of your tallest cabinet may look as pristine as it did when you bought it years ago, but is it actually safe to cook with? Oil is one of those ingredients we may not think of as having an expiration date — add salt, flour, and those too-sweet rainbow popsicles in your freezer to the list — but like anything fresh, oil has won't last forever.
Olive oil producers and experts gathered for dueling meetings in Sevilla and Rome to examine the challenges of the rapidly changing global olive oil market.
Prisons are not only places where inmates serve their sentences. The ultimate goal is to rehabilitate and reintroduce them back into society, preferably with useful skills, which is exactly what Open Prison in İzmir's Foça district is doing.
The genetic identification of Greek varieties of olive trees is about to begin in order to register all varieties, according to the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs. The aim is to create a network for targeted research into the deciphering of the genetic material of olive trees in Greece, using genomic technology.
