GlobalMindED is Honored at the 40th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Business Awards

We are tremendously grateful to be recognized with this special honor. Each year, communities across the nation come together to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by celebrating individuals and organizations that embody his vision of equality, service, and community advancement. Among these celebrations, the MLK Business Awards stands out as a powerful recognition of businesses and leaders who demonstrate extraordinary commitment to Dr. King’s ideals.

The MLK Business Awards are an annual celebration acknowledging businesses, entrepreneurs, and community leaders making significant contributions to social justice, economic equality, and community enrichment. The awards are rooted in Dr. King’s teachings, focusing on fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace and beyond. Since 2000, proceeds from the Martin Luther King, Jr. business Awards have funded college scholarships for students who face circumstances that may make it difficult to prioritize their education. Click here to learn more about the history of the awards and the legislative process to create the Martin Luther King Holiday in Colorado, thanks to the Honorable Wilma Webb.

This year, GlobalMindED is among the distinguished recipients of the MLK Business Awards, recognized for its contributions to creating pathways for first-generation college students, underrepresented professionals, and underserved communities.

GlobalMindED has consistently demonstrated its commitment to advancing equity in education and professional opportunities. Through its innovative programs, mentorship networks, and leadership development initiatives, the organization embodies Dr. King’s vision of empowerment and inclusivity. You can watch the video of each of the honorees to learn more about their work.

We are tremendously grateful to be recognized with this special honor and look forward to continuing the legacy of MLK- our role model and inspiration.
