GEF is Seeking a Great Administrative Assistant!!!
 

GEF's Executive Assistant, Katherine Schofield, has been offered a great opportunity for a full-time position in Bostson and will be leaving GEF at the end of January, 2019.  So...we are looking for a new administrative assistant for our busy office on Main Street in downtown Gloucester.  Our ideal candidate will be experienced in office systems, databases and software; fluent in online communications and social media; passionate about managing detail; able to work efficiently; and committed to helping to further the work of GEF in raising funds for innovative and wonderful programs into the Gloucester Public Schools
.
The person we are seeking will be a collaborative worker who is able to communicate effectively with volunteers, Board members and other members of the community.  Some of the specific duties include, but are not limited to, entering donations into the organization's database and preparing donor correspondence; preparing invoices for our bookkeeper,  maintaining and updating GEF's Facebook page and website, coordinating volunteer projects; special events support as needed; and performing other office duties as requested.

This position is part-time (20 hours/week).
