"If we did all the things we are capable of doing we would literally astound ourselves."

- Thomas Edison

Close your mind tightly to all opposition, you are brilliant,
you are creative, and your expression is needed by us all.

We were simply awestruck by this amazing felted playhouse for children that we just had to find out more. With such elaborate detail and sturdy structure, it was difficult to imagine that the artist had just discovered needle felting.

Shirley Frye made this wonderful purse by starting
with the needle felting a purse kit!

"I started with...Teak Merino Cross Batt, and finished with Merino Cross Batt Cinnamon Brown.
I put the fastener on the back instead of in front.
The strap is just long enough to hang the purse under my arm, yet easy to get into.
"

Mary Hirsch-Jones felted this awesome and vibrant vessel!
"This was a really fun project! I selected about five different colors and wrapped them around an inflatable ball. I loved cutting open the flower and was really pleased by the vibrancy of the orange color. While it is a bowl, I haven't quite figured out what to put in it.
Maybe it will ripen bananas faster?
"

Chantelle Riggs of British Columbia created
this magical tree with felting and yarns.

Merry Goldthorpe felted this gorgeous Kestrel,
a small hawk that hunts rodents and insects.

Beata Brodka of Posnan, Poland shared this fabulous unicorn on facebook.

"my latest work, just for fun really :) I used your 'chinese turquoise' locks, which inspired the whole color theme. I'm thinking of using the 'african violet' to make a second unicorn "to match" ;) "

Once you visit her facebook profile, you might recognize
her work -- she won 1st Place in the LIVING FELT 2011
International Felting Contest - Doll Category.
