Restorative Practices Training
Virtual Restorative Practices Trainings
Register for a two-part virtual training series on Restorative Practices led by trainer and social worker, Missy Wise. Learn the core concepts of restorative practices as a means of conflict resolution and proactive strategies that build resilience and help foster trust among students and the community.
Promoting Student Social-Emotional Wellness
A child’s social-emotional health directly impacts their ability to learn in school, manage their emotions and behavior, and build friendships. That’s why it’s so important for school staff to ask students about their feelings, teach emotional regulation and coping skills in the classroom, and connect students in need to additional emotional and mental health services. Recently, Washington Elementary School implemented the use of a new app that gives all students a way to let their teacher know how they’re feeling that day, so the teacher can better support them.
