Quick Highlights

  • San Pedro Ponds Trail and Jackson Park pit stop
  • Views out to the east and west foothills makes for a scenic ride

Riding on the eastern part of town includes mostly flat roads, with the exception of a short but gradual inclines through the Jackson Oaks neighborhood at the base of the foothills. Don't worry about climbing up the monster of a hill towards Holiday Lakes, if that's not your style. There's plenty of road to cruise without needing those extra gears. Additionally, we encourage you to cool off, pre or post ride, at the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center for a swim! Reminder - bike racks are available at all City facilities to use during your visit, and please be sure to plan your visit to the Aquatic Center ahead of time by purchasing recreation swim admission tickets online.

Insider tips – Stop over at Jackson Park to hop off the bike and enjoy the humble vista towards the western foothills. If you enjoy this ride in the afternoon, this is a great route to enjoy a sunset, so make sure you’re prepared with headlights/taillight once the sun drops behind the hills.
