| Part I: Go Farther, Spend Less | | |
Welcome to our first installment of "What Makes Twin Vee the Best Riding Boat on the Water?", a new weekly feature where we will explore why Twin Vee’s catamarans outperform the competition. Our focus will be on the quantifiable benefits that matter most to the Twin Vee community and prospective customers.
Each week, we will tackle a different topic, like safety, handling, and flexibility. For this inaugural feature, we’re starting with a subject on every boater’s mind: fuel economy.
There is nothing quite like the feeling of slicing through choppy water, not pounding through it. That’s the feeling our owners know well, the sensation of a remarkably smooth, stable ride that only a Twin Vee power catamaran can deliver. This unmatched ride quality is so much more than just being comfortable while onboard. It means that Twin Vees are fuel-efficient. When a boat is not constantly fighting the waves, it does not have to work as hard, and that translates directly into better fuel economy.
| | |
The numbers above speak for themselves! While a comparable 26-foot monohull boat might struggle to break 1.3 miles per gallon (mpg), our Twin Vee 26-footers achieve 2.0-2.3 mpg at cruise speed.
What does that mean for you? Twin Vee's fuel economy means fewer stops to gas up and more time on the water. It means a 150-gallon tank can give you over 300 miles of usable range, enough to confidently make that offshore run you have always dreamed of.
Take our 280 GFX2, for example. Its 230-gallon fuel capacity, combined with a stunning 2.0 mpg at cruise, delivers a staggering 414-mile range. That translates into being able to go from Stuart, Florida to the stunning waters of Abaco in the Bahamas, and back, all on a single tank with reserve!
As one of our owners likes to say, with a Twin Vee, you can “pick your day, not your gas dock.” This verifiable fuel economy unlocks the freedom to explore farther and experience more. This is the Twin Vee difference and why we make the Best Riding Boat on the Water!
| | Refurb, Repower, or Upgrade Your Twin Vee! | |
You're invited to upgrade, repower, or refurbish your Twin Vee to experience the Best Riding Boats on the Water firsthand!
We will evaluate your current Twin Vee, make you a cash offer, and, working hand-in-hand with our dealer network, move you into a larger Twin Vee or one of our newest models. If you want a fresh start, we’ll guide you into the latest STX or GFX2 series; if you love your hull, we can refurbish your existing boat with new interiors and upholstery, updated gelcoat/eco colorways, current electronics, and a full repower.
| |
We will consider any Twin Vee, regardless of length, model, condition, or year. To begin, please submit your information to info@twinvee.com or use this link to start the evaluation. Be sure to include several photos of your current boat (exterior, helm, engines, hours if available, and any areas you’d like us to consider) and attach or reference images of the model you’d like to acquire so we can align on the best path forward. After we receive your details, we will call you to discuss options—moving up in size, selecting a brand-new STX or GFX, or planning a factory refurb/repower—and outline what the next steps are.
If you are located within the territory of one of our amazing Twin Vee dealers, we will work closely with that dealership from start to finish, handling the purchase of your existing Twin Vee and coordinating your upgrade.
With demand for pre-owned Twin Vees strong and factory capacity available now, this is the best time to step into your next Twin Vee! Our team is looking forward to helping you make it happen.
