The Graduating Class of 2019
For 4 years we watched the Class of 2019 grow academically, socially and spiritually, but earlier this week we said farewell to an incredible class of Seniors as they embark onto the next chapter of life's journey. The graduation ceremonies included the Senior Recognition Assembly, the beautiful Baccalaureate Liturgy, and culminated with Graduation at St. Basil the Great Church in Brecksville. This year's group of 58 graduates earned over $5.4M in renewable scholarships to colleges all over the country! Good luck to everyone in the Class of 2019 and thank you for all you did in your time as Trojans!
All-Ohio Record Breakers
The Trojans 4 x 100 Relay Team earned All-Ohio honors by placing 6th at the OHSAA State Championship Meet in Columbus. The team of Kirk Colvin, Gabe Nevmerzycki, Micky Samuel, and Noah Salem qualified for the title race by breaking the school record set in 2009 with a time of 43.50. Congratulations to Coach Kall, and the guys on an incredible run!
Two Games, No Hits
The Trojans baseball and softball teams ended their season in historical fashion against Cleveland Central Catholic. Freshman Ian Anderson tossed a 5-inning perfect game to close out the baseball season. On the girls side, Kayleigh Burke threw a complete game no-hitter in her final game as a Trojan. The 8-0 win locked up another NCL title for the Lady Trojans, their 3rd championship in 4 years. Burke earned NCL Pitcher of the Year for her terrific season, and our Spring athletes earned 14 All-NCL First and Second Team honors.
Celebrate a Decade of Success
During the 2019-20 school year we will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the Pre-Professional Internship Program. Save the Date for September 19 as we are planning a celebratory gathering that will coincide with Trinity's annual Homecoming Weekend. Details are still being finalized, but the event will be held at a venue in the greater Cleveland area. It will be free of charge to attend and you can RSVP here. Thank you to all of our PPI partners for all you do for our students!
