Here is a good thing to remember...
"If you want to increase Sales & Profits, go up on your prices!"
A service tech will do about 1,200 calls a year. If you increase the average ticket by $25.00, here is what will happen.
(1) Tech @ 1,200 calls x $25.00 = $30,000 additional profit
(2) Techs @ 2,400 calls x $25.00 = $60,000 additional profit
(3) Techs @ 3,600 calls x $25.00 = $90,000 additional profit
Remember, when you increase your sell price, you add nothing to your labor cost, material cost or your overhead cost. It all goes to the bottom line.
