18th Sunday of Ordinary Time (A) | Aug 2, 2020
This Sunday, Aug. 2, we will have our first campus Mass of the semester (details below). As students begin to return to WCU, some are concerned about isolation and loneliness due to many of the usual social opportunities on campus being curtailed. Others are concerned about transitioning from the relative peace of low social activity and returning to communal life on campus. As important as it is to be connected to a community, we should also take a lesson from Christ, who in this Sunday's gospel withdraws to a deserted place by himself before ministering to the crowd.

In Christ's Peace,
Deacon Matt
