God breathed life into our Constitution that birthed Freedoms the people of the world had never experienced. There are some of the National organizations who have created great resources about this: Constitution Alive, Hillsdale College, and Kris Ann Hall, the Constitutional lawyer who assisted a pastor of Williston who kept Vermont churches open during Covid. More on these institutions can be found at the bottom of this link. God has blessed America and He wants to continue to do so.
We need to team to develop an activated Grassroots network that Ellie Martin gratefully already initiated by bringing national voices for Vermonters to hear. Those who were interested and could travel heard strong Constitutional voices standing up about Covid, our schools, the Constitution, Election Integrity and more. More below.

The Threat Posed by Our Caretaker Government

President Biden’s recent snapping at his staff when he forgot to introduce Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi did nothing to restore confidence in his capability to serve. The good news was that when he met with Ukraine’s President Zelensky at the end of the week, at least he did not call him President Putin, as he did when they met in July.
With the exception of the White House staff and those out-of-touch Leftists who work at MSNBC, there is almost no one remaining in America who really believes that President Biden is functioning as our nation’s Commander-in-Chief. But, if not him, who? It doesn’t seem like it is Kamala. (She is sleep-walking toward the Presidency — as if she thought that she already “had it in the bag,” as if “the fix was in,” to mix metaphors.) Who else? Jill? Hillary? Bill? Barack? White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients — not exactly a household name. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan? White House Counsel Ed Siskel – another Obama retread? Secretary of State Antony Blinken? Or, most likely, a committee of all of the above and maybe a few more?
It would be my view that if Biden cannot do his job, he should be replaced — by the Vice President — not by a secret committee. That would be the Constitutional way — even though I know these people don’t hold much stock in the Constitution. Some may disagree, thinking that if Kamala were actually sworn in as President, it might cause more people to vote for her as the incumbent, but at least it would prevent her from telling us what she would do when she takes office — because she would be not only in office, but in the highest office.
What really threatens the nation is the reckless manner in which this anonymous committee is running the government, particularly in matters of foreign policy. There is no caution, no professionalism, and indeed, no maturity. Do they really think it wise to continue to provoke the country with the world’s largest store of nuclear warheads?
Based on my experience in government, those who are protected from accountability act increasingly irresponsibly. That seems to be what is happening here. Only days ago, it appeared that “our government” had authorized Zelensky to use our weapons, including ATACMS missiles, to strike deep into Russia. President Putin made clear he would consider such an attack to come not from the Ukraine, but from the United States and NATO countries. Just yesterday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov passed on a similar warning at the United Nations. Have we backed off our reckless position? No one knows for sure.

Tim Walz’s administration in Minnesota has long been under scrutiny. But no one was expecting this. And a top Tim Walz appointee has been caught trying to overthrow America. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s administration has come under fire as one of his key education appointees, Professor Brian Lozenski, openly advocated for the overthrow of the United States.
The alarming comments were recently brought to light by National Review, raising serious concerns about the radical ideologies influencing Walz’s education policies, especially as the 2024 election looms and scrutiny intensifies around those connected to vice-presidential candidate Walz.
Lozenski, a professor of urban and multicultural education at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, was appointed by Walz to help shape the state’s ethnic studies curriculum through an “implementation framework.” However, recent revelations about his extreme political beliefs have sparked outrage and raised questions about how deeply far-left ideologies are embedded within the educational system in Minnesota and beyond.

The gross bias in the national media is apparent for all to see, but it is important to know that it is just as bad in our local news outlets here in Vermont.
The Manchester Journal recently published an attack piece by one of my opponents in the Bennington Senate race, Democrat Seth Bongartz, which was filled with a number of misdirections from the truth and outright falsehoods about the “Unaffordable” Heat Act. I submitted my own op-ed in rebuttal. Without my knowledge or consent the editors at the paper substantially re-wrote my piece and published it under my name, which is, I believe, highly unethical. It is certainly dishonest.
Here is what I wrote in full, with text in bold indicating places where the editor at the paper removed or re-wrote the language I submitted, in a piece headlined: "Gervais: Bongartz is misleading voters about Clean Heat Standard Cost/Status."
In his recent attack on myself and Spike Whitmire, Seth Bongartz makes multiple, verifiably false claims about the Clean Heat Standard in an attempt to unjustly smear myself and Spike, while deceiving you about his own voting record. I'd like to remind Rep. Bongartz and the voting public of Article 9 of the Vermont Constitution: "and previous to any law being made to raise a tax, the purpose for which it is to be raised ought to appear evident to the Legislature to be of more service to community than the money would be if not collected." This November who you elect is a referendum on continuing or halting the progressive supermajority's money grab. Regarding the Bongartz commentary, here are the receipts.
Bongartz asserts that a “carbon surcharge” will not be added on home heating fuels to meet legislated mandates under a Clean Heat Standard program. Untrue. Of course there will be. There has to be a surcharge/fee/tax/ on heating fuel because that’s where revenue to fund the program comes from. Without it, there is no program.

Raising up our children to achieve high academic performance objectives may not be overtly a constitutional issue, but something is amiss in our schools that have turned over a leaf to promote CRT, SEL, DEI and gender identification in deference to reading, writing and 'rithmetic. Ben Franklin's comment about giving us a Republic, if we can keep it - means parents and community members should be concerned about how equipped children are to keep it.

We need not just grassroots members, but grassroots activity with local Red White and Blue volunteers in each town and/or school district to stir Vaxxed 3 showings and to be schoolhouse volunteers.
There is benefit in seeing Vaxxed3 together; invite others to watch it with you - at a home, in a church, at the school... It is time to wake up Vermonters to how government agencies and medical institutions created a setting where people have been injured, lost loved ones, and were even put on protocols that lead to deaths. Talk about Constitutional Rights being trampled upon. The subtitle is Authority to Kill with reason.

1) Encourage hosting FREE VAXXED3 showings for groups - at homes, schools, churches, clubs... Send text message/email invites to people you know. Simply copy and paste this simple message.

3) Find opportunities to print and distribute Constitution Handbills (below)
4) Hold a Flag Wave while the Color Tours are here. They are easy, gather some flags and stand at a busy corner and wave them.
5) Arrange a Veterans Day celebration with a Constitutional slant.
6) Designate one day a week to wear Red White and Blue attire.
7) Gather at the flagpole for morning Pledge of Allegiance once a week when students are dropped off, or circle it for prayer.
Encouraging Vaxxed 3 showings and finding Schoolhouse Volunteers, are the high priorities. Whatever else can be done locally to encourage engagement in RWB activities is welcomed. If you'd be willing to actively engage, click here. This will activate you as part of the RWB Team.
