Dear sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, part of a growing repentance remnant globally,
When God COMMANDS you and me to do something, do you do it?
His Eternal Word tells us that He COMMANDS us to repent:
Acts 17:29-31 (KJV): Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at (i.e. overlooked); but now commandeth all men every where to repent. Because He hath appointed a day in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead.
Acts 20: 17-21: "From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church. And when they had come to him, he said to them: ' You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you, serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews; how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, REPENTANCE TOWARD GOD and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."
Key Thought: Repentance is our response to God's command; regeneration is God’s response, His Gift, to us.
