IDENTITIES CONCEALED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES

God Is Our Fortress

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." -Psalm 46:1

Dear Ministry Partners,

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

We are reminded daily that God is our shepherd, refuge, and strength—a true helper who is always present in frightening situations (Psalm 46:1). We continually offer our thanks to Him and lean on His guidance in every step we take.

Please remember to keep our land in your prayers, as it is still under the threat of a challenging regime. Innocent civilians face daily tragedies, including loss of life, burned homes, and the devastation of entire villages. Many are working tirelessly to help flood victims while also managing the dangers surrounding them. The capital cities, where many seek refuge, are particularly unsafe for men trying to find work.

Despite these challenges, God is protecting and using His committed church. He is actively working in the lives of the teams, pastors, and teachers. The church is being strengthened by faithful teachers, and believers are increasingly aware of the Holy Spirit's intervention. They are seeking a closer relationship with God by participating in Bible studies. In one class in East Shan State, the number of students has grown from 10 to 20. The hardships are creating a deep hunger for the Word among the believers.

Thank you so much for your prayers, love, and support financially.

In His Love,

Classes

For two weeks, I taught Book #6 on Personal Spiritual Life at a ministry training school. There are 26 young people studying for church planting reasons. Photos are below.  I also visited three classes, and they are doing well.

  • Pastor B visited one class, and it is doing well. Also, his class is doing well so far.
  • Pastor T visited two classes and is doing well in training, though it is a busy season.
  • Pastor Z is good with his own class. However, with the political unrest, no activity is allowed.
  • Pastor S visited three classes and enjoyed fellowship and prayer.

Staff Update

  • Pastor B and his family are doing well. His children are going to school now.
  • Pastor M and his family are doing well. This is their harvest season. Praise the Lord that they had a good harvest, which will support the family and ministry.
  • Pastor Y and his family are doing well. They are in a village border of China. China blocked the border, so they are in a difficult situation. CCI books were left in the office, and they can still not bring them with them. Pray that books are safe from any damage.
  • Pastor T and his family are good and started the great harvest. He shared with seven pastors and church leaders, and they are interested in the materials.
  • Pastor Z and his family are doing well. Pray for his two children's education.
  • Pastor S and his family are good. His two young boys are in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to avoid the regime. He met with two pastors and some church ministers to share the ministry. They are interested in CCI.

Testimonies

"My name is Pastor K. I have never received formal training; I have only received informal education for various reasons. However, I love reading and spend much of my time studying the Bible on my own. When I was elected as one of the assistant pastors at my church, I felt unprepared to preach due to my lack of biblical knowledge. Fortunately, the CCI ministry came to our area five years ago, and I was able to attend a workshop for pastors. That experience opened my eyes to the role of a pastor and the importance of their work. The materials gave me a comprehensive understanding of biblical teaching and inspired me to commit to studying and teaching accurately. My learning has transformed my preaching style, and I now feel bold in making disciples and encouraging others to do the same in the ministry. Thank you, God, and thank you, CCI!"

"My name is Pastor S, and I graduated from CCI in 2019. After finishing my studies, I continued to engage with the materials on my own while serving alongside my pastor to help God’s people. The Bible, through these resources, has profoundly changed my life and enhanced my communication skills. As a result, I have earned greater respect and love from my community, which has deepened my love for the lost.

Over time, my pastor left the church due to chaotic circumstances, and I found myself stepping up to lead the congregation. This experience challenged me to trust in God more than ever. I credit the CCI ministry for shaping me into who I am today. It is truly amazing! Praise the Lord, and thank you, CCI!"

Myanmar New Coordinators & Ministry Needs

Prayer Requests & Praises

Praise Points:

  • I had the opportunity to train 26 young people for two weeks in person and another 12 students online. They are enthusiastic about learning the Word of God.
  • All CCI Myanmar teams and family members are doing well despite horrible flooding and junta attacks.

Prayer Points:

  • One of the teachers got in a motorbike accident and badly broke a shoulder and left arm while visiting believers in camps with a friend. Pray for a speedy recovery and strong in the training ministry.
  • Pray for each area leader, as they face several challenges at home and in ministry. Due to threats from the local leaders under the junta's leadership, visitation to churches is very limited.
  • A pastor is organizing a teacher training workshop in the third week of November. Pray that God will send pastors to train their own believers to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
  • Please pray for the smooth running of our children’s education. My son still needs $750 to be paid before the end of December.
  • This devaluation of our support is drastically affecting our family’s food budget. We are asking the Lord to provide an increase of $250 per month to meet these basic needs. Please consider making a new monthly commitment today to help meet this need. We thank you in advance for your help.
