As we live in unpredictable times, it is good to know that our God is faithful! Over the past year, Michael and I have faced challenges well beyond our human ability. Each NEW thing would come, and I would cry out to God with raw emotions. Amazingly God did not correct me but poured out his loving presence upon us. God wants us to be real with him, but he also wants us to believe and trust that he is good and faithful.
During these days of unquestionable uncertainty, let me encourage you to cry out to the Lord! In the Psalms above, it says He will lift you up, and many will see His miracles! We will always have difficulties here on earth. As C. S. Lewis said, "Misfortune will come to all." The question is, are we going to go through them with God or without Him?
The other day I had a lady share with me that most people like to stay on the edge with God because it is safer. I encouraged her that this isn’t true, but a lie that the evil one would like for us to believe. To know Him is so much better than anything else this world has to offer! So lean in my friend and make Him your closest confidant! You will not be disappointed because you will find peace and joy in His presence!
Habakkuk, one of the Minor Prophets, complained to God in the beginning about what was going on in his day, but then God spoke and said He was doing an unbelievable thing. (“Look among the nations, and see! Be surprised and full of wonder! For I am doing something in your days that you would not believe if you were told." Habakkuk 1:5)
So I ask you, friend, do you want to see God do a New thing in our day, do you want to experience a God sighting, do you want to see His glory? If so, then these are the days to seek Him! You will not be disappointed for He will show up and you will be amazed!
