"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
-Jeremiah 29:11

Wins of the Week
Ten people were baptized across Tomoka's campuses this past week, including Garrett Davis and Michelle Stafford, pictured above. It was a cold day this past Sunday, but Garrett and Michelle braved the cold weather and were baptized at James Nance Park, as the Palm Bay campus held their first Beach Baptism Day of 2019. Many people from the Palm Bay campus also attended the Beach Baptism to cheer on the two that were baptized, and to gather in prayer. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to show their support, and congratulations to all ten people who made the most important decision of their lives. If you are ready to accept Christ, or would like to learn more about being baptized, visit the link below.
You may remember hearing about the boy pictured on the left a couple months ago. His name is Daouda, and he is blind and deaf. Earlier, Tomoka celebrated a victory when Stacy Shawiak, with Wycliffe Associates, was able to teach him scriptures. Tomoka recently gifted Daouda's family with a goat, and they have been able to start a business because of this goat. It's easy to get caught up in all of the big things that Tomoka is doing around the world, but the little things are worth celebrating too. The fact that this goat is giving Daouda's family a reliable source of income is fantastic news, and it is wonderful to hear that they are doing well!
Around Campus
Over half of all Americans have read little to none of the Bible. The main reason why is because if you don't know where to start, it can be hard to navigate at times. If you would like to develop a better understanding of God's Word, Tomoka would like to invite you to Bible 101. The class begins at 6:30 PM Wednesday, March 27 at the Ormond campus. Sign up for Bible 101 at the link below.
The Ormond campus will have a special midweek service at 6:30 PM Wednesday, March 27. John Thomas Oaks will be in town to perform his musical called, A Whale of a Tale, which will take you through one of the most popular stories in the Bible: the story of Jonah. The musical is free to everyone, and is perfect for all ages. The Nations Cafe will open at 5 PM, so feel free to grab a bite to eat before the show! Hey ladies! The Ormond campus has a fun opportunity for you to connect with other women at the church. The WOW Women’s Ministry is hosting a free brunch from 10 AM to 12:30 PM this Saturday in the Chapel. Feel free to bring a friend, and don’t forget to bring a dish to share. To register, contact Gail Nevius.
