God at work in Mozambique!

Deedee,

Over the last couple of years, thousands of Christians in northern Mozambique have become IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons) because they escaped attacks from Islamic militants. Reports of kidnappings, murders, violent attacks, and the destruction of churches have increased significantly.

In the midst of all the pain, fear, and loss, God is at work! ROYS Country Leader, Iwell Phiri, leads the training and next generation strategy for ROYS in Mozambique. In his latest report, he documents youth leader trainings, salvations, baptisms, testimonies, and subsequent church plantings as a result of what God is doing there. In a country often filled with sorrow and death, let us thank God and worship Him for the joy and new life captured in these latest photos.

Joseph's Testimony

A recent testimony from a student whose life has been transformed:

“My name is Joseph. I was trapped in a life of sin and darkness, but everything changed when I encountered the love of Christ through the ministry of JFYM Mozambique. I gave my life to Christ and was born again.

Today, I’m a new creation, living a life that honors God. God has called me to be a young pastor, and my passion is to help and disciple other youth around me. Special thanks to our generous donors who supported this ministry, enabling us to reach lives like mine. May God bless you abundantly.”

Will you take a moment and pray for Joseph, as well as the hundreds of other students who have given their lives to Jesus this year in Mozambique? Will you also pray for our trained leaders there, and our Country Leader, Iwell Phiri?

I invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a monthly financial partner as we continue to invest in leaders like Iwell whom God is using mightily to reach the next generation with the gospel of Christ.

Blessings,
