Navigating change in the form of political shifts or effects of a pandemic in recent months reminds us of the timeless truth written in Psalm 46: "Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea...God is within her, she will not fail; God will help her at break of day...The Lord Almighty is with us." In this newsletter update we celebrate God's faithfulness, reflect on what He has done at BsideU for Life, and share updates about challenges to come.

This month's updates:

  • We say thank you and goodbye to Dr. Kauffman who just retired after 16 years of faithful service. Read about it here.
  • Tackling a tragically common need we see among clients, we're starting a Healing From Abuse class in our Life Skills programming next month. Read about it here.
  • Looking back over a tumultuous year in our nation and city, we reflect on God's faithfulness in navigating the challenges of 2020.
  • Political transitions mean a shift in policies that affect protection of the unborn on a national and local level. See our summary here.
  • Mobile ministry training in January in partnership with ICU Mobile ministry.
  • The recent addition of three new board members!
  • Returning volunteers that had to step away in 2020 making their way back to BsideU.
  • Generosity of community partners with services and financial support of clients.

  • More board members are needed to replace some who rotated off at the end of 2020.
  • More women to find our ministry, choosing to connect with BsideU instead of the abortion clinics.
  • Staff and their families dealing with health issues, aging parents and loved ones who need to receive the Gospel.
  • We are in great need of a full-time nurse.
  • Prayer for the mobile unit training in March as we lead up to our mobile ministry launch.
  • A client who is working to balance home, work and school life.
  • A client working to complete her CNA training - to get a better paying job and settle into her new apartment.
  • A client who is addicted to drugs with complicated medical conditions, who needs treatment.
  • Clients who are due to deliver their babies next month.
  • Clients to believe that Jesus is the answer!

Thank you for your support and prayers!
