St. Auggie's is blessed to have several adults-in-the-making, also known as kids/young folks/pre-teens, etc.

Fr. Kevin had a bright idea: He decided to put them to work.

And last Sunday, work they did: setting up the altar, connecting the computer for the slide show, handing out hymnals, and reading scripture.

No, this was not Youth Sunday. It was God's Sunday.

In the book of Isaiah, He says:

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19

Thank you, Father, for opening our eyes, for using these young Christians to serve you!

ENGAGE Begins with God's Kids
Fr. Kevin has paired each of our young folks with an adult volunteer for the ENGAGE ministry . For the next eight weeks, each student/adult pair will meet to read the Bible one-on-one, talk about what they’ve read/what it means for them, and to pray together.

This is a great chance to develop significant new relationships as we participate in an important new ministry for the life and health of our parish and to see first-hand the power of God’s word at work.
Plane Ticket for Father Santosh: Done!
Once again, St. Auggie's came through to help a soul in need. THANK YOU for your generosity to Fr. Santosh. Now he can get home to his family in India. God bless you all.
St. Augustine’s Anglican Church is hosting its annual drive to collect supplies for the Marine Corps Family Support Community, an organization of parents, families, spouses, veterans and friends who support our military (all branches), and who provide a touch of home to our deployed military with our care packages twice a month.
We will distribute bags on Sunday, October 7th for you to collect donation from your community. If you could, take 5-10 bags and give to family, friends, neighbors or co-workers to help.

Fall Military Package Drive October 7 and 14.

Trail Life USA is a Christian outdoor adventure, character and leadership program for boys and young men and will serve as a ‘brother group’ for our new AHG Troop. We are looking for men (young and old!) who’re willing to step up and fill mentoring and leadership opportunities within our new Troop. There are multiple opportunities to be a part of this exciting new youth ministry program at St. Augustine’s!

Because this program is boy-led, and boy-focused, we need you gents to pitch in to make it a success!    We are in immediate need of someone who wishes to take the role of Troop Chaplain, and serve as an assistant Troopmaster, helping Fr. Terry Gatwood, Benjamin Winkler and the rest of the board.

Please take a moment to read more about Trail Life on their website:

If you are interested in helping in any role with our Trail Life or American Heritage Girls programs, please email  Wendy Winkler  as she will serve as the St. Augustine’s contact for both organizations.
