Pastor's Message

  Dear Friend in Faith,

We are God’s love in action. God’s love is living here, in us right now. As I reflect on our ministries of compassion and justice, our worship and our small groups, all we do for children and youth, it is evident how God’s love moves through us and changes lives. God invites us to a relationship where we can know the love that does amazing things in our lives: helps us to see what matters, turns us around, inspires our service. God heals the hurts we carry and can forgive the guilt that consumes us. God impels us to do life-changing work in the world around us. This has been true since our founding: we are a church where God’s love can be met, experienced first-hand and shared.

We'll be asking you some questions like we did last Sunday but we'll be texting our answers and getting the results in real time! It will be a fun way to learn more about the people you sit next to in the pews.

God's Love in Action in Guatemala
Every March for more than a decade, PVUMC has sent a medical mission team to Guatemala. This year will be their 13th year! Last year, the team saw a hundred patients on a typical day and taught VBS to more than 100 children. Thanks to your donations, more than 500 pairs of glasses were distributed to help those struggling with poor eyesight. This year, you can be God's love in action again by becoming a mission team stakeholder.
