Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant:
Linda Pate in Corpus Christi, Texas has been bold to proclaim 2 Chronicles 7: 13 and 14 to her community which has faced a major drought. She's approached the mayor for support; she's sent materials to many pastors. During Rededicate 250 on May 17 she reports that many people in Corpus Christi had prayers of repentance.
Twice, National Day of Repentance has held a day of repentance focusing on Corpus Christi. On the zoom calls brothers and sisters from other nations joined, making it a true global intercessory prayer for God to hear from heaven, forgive sin and heal the land, ending the drought.
God's Word Works. Here it is, 2 Chronicles 7:12-14, in the amplified version:
And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said to him: I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.
If I shut up heaven so no rain falls, or if I command locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people,
If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

"Our watershed has increased since the repentance prayers of Rededicate 250 from 7.2% to 9.9%. Since the Rededication 250 in Corpus Christi, there has been so much rain!! That gathering of 200-300 was really a time of REPENTANCE although it was not billed that way nor was 2 Chron 7:13 proclaimed. God has unzipped the windows of heaven and poured out healing on our parched land and emptied lakes. It is delightful to hear His rain! This morning my street was even flooded a bit. Everyone is rejoicing Thanks be to God the giver of every good and perfect gift !"
